BECOMING AN FDC EDUCATOR

Minimum Requirements

  • Completed qualification: Certificate III or Diploma in Childcare Service

  • Fitness for role: Mentally and physically able to work with children

  • Clearances: Valid Working With Children (Victoria) check and Police Check clearance

  • Work environment: A suitable setting that is safe and protects children

  • First aid: Current First Aid certificate for childcare HLTA0012

  • Training: Child protection and child safety training

Our Coordinators will arrange a meeting with you at your place to help guide you through the process to set up an FDC service including all the requirements for health and safety.

New educators will go through a series of training and orientation to help them familiarize themselves with the working enronment, the Regulation & Policies, and Procedures.

The coordinators and business manager will help you to set up and get your business ready to start including the advertisement, and tax matters.
